KUALA LUMPUR(Bernama) -- The Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) wants National Sports Associations (NSAs) aspiring to compete in the First Asian Martial Arts Games (AMAG) in Bangkok from April 25 to May 3, to bear their own cost.

New Delhi The sports ministry has decided to use the AK Mishra Memorial boxing tournament, to be held in Chandigarh between March 11 and 15, as testing ground for the Commonwealth Games 2010. This makes it the first one to be funded, to the tune of Rs 10 lakh as prize money and other organisational expenses, under the programme ‘Preparation of teams for the Commonwealth Games 2010’.

KUALA LUMPUR -- The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) will send a letter to the Malaysian Sports Council (MSC) to appeal on the latter's decision in dropping futsal from the Malaysia Games (SUKMA) 2010 to be held in Melaka.

FAM Futsal and Beach Football Committee chairman Hamidin Mohd Amin said FAM regretted the decision by MSC as it would hamper development of new futsal talents in the country.
