org yg mengalami sport injury, kemalangan, gemuk, boleh ikut sama tu.

No. I am not wingchun23.

All I saw was some thread on branding someone equivalent to being a dog, questioning the masters capability and then 1 party offering the other party to correct his stances.

Then you(zeus) mentioned about someone(rep of Samuel Kwok in Malaysia, which there is none I know off from Samuel Kwok's site) throwing a challenge and offering transportation for the challenge. This should be wingchun23, I believe, but his comments do not appear.

As I have said, I don't think we should brand someone a "dog" (our own fellow wing chun practitioner), questioning the masters capability, throwing challenges to others who do not agree with our opinion. Somehow the wingchun23 fellow seem to be very much provoked to the extend of issuing challenges. This is not proper to issue challenges but being branded a "dog" ? Perhaps this "dog" thing is the one that really pissed him off ? If this so called "lapping" or "dog" thing was not brought up, the whole challenge may not arise. That's my point on proper open discussion.

Discussion on the advantages or disadvantages of a seminar do not need to lead towards calling "dogs" and issuing challenges. Mature discussions do not have to go to that extend. That's all I want to say.
Cheers.

Since you don't follow the whole thread - some has been deleted by wingchun23, what make you made such statement by just reading 1 side of the story?

Are you wingchun23?

OK. The intention may not be such by sometimes the way we phrase things might sound as such. To promote harmony and open discussion, maybe we shouldn't use those derogatory words.

1) What I am saying is we should refrain from saying things such as "once in a while you are thrown scraps of bones from Grandmasters you lap it up." You are saying the other party is like a dog or something like that it this is what I mean by insulting.

2) Ip Chun did learn from Ip Man. First when he was young and before Ip Man left for Hong Kong in 1949. When Ip Chun went over to Hong Kong in 1962, he did continue with Ip Man. Whether they are the best or not is gray ( I agree with you here ). As such I think we should not pass comment on these masters in gray areas.

3) Yes, it may sound beneficial but this may be taken as a show of force that the other party is better and be the "teacher". This can be avoided.

4) I am not aware of this challenge offer as the thread don't seem to show it. I thought there is no Samuel Kwok's rep in Malaysia. I am not in agreement also with this kind of manner. However if we look at it from the other person's perspective of being branded close to a "dog" or questioning how he is using his wing chun, then understandably he would "burst" and challenge.

Let's discuss the manner harmoniuosly and respect each other. Do refrain from the derogatory words and stop issuing challenges when not in conformation with our opinions. I think then our wing chun community would be much more respected. Frankly, I see more of this within our wing chun community then other martial arts. Cheers.
